With design and production centered in Alhambra, California only minutes away from Downtown Los Angeles the cocktail party and poolside lifestyle of the desert constantly influences Trina s designs. Since the company's inception in 1995, the collection has gained popularity for their amazing pant fit and splendid signature prints. The first Trina Turk boutique opened in March 2002 in Palm Springs, California. And, with Trina Turk clothing retailers and boutiques scattered from California to the New York coast, wholesale sales have reached 40 million in 2007. Trina believes that incorporating the greatest aspects of classic American sportswear is essential and achieved by creating wearable, optimistic fashion pieces. Taught to sew by her mother when she was 11 years old, Trina considers herself fortunate.
